Datalist hyperlink question

I have a question regarding using hyperlinks with a datalist control.

I know that if I put a button inside of a column of a datalist control, I
should be able to have some type of ability to have something like:
btnAdd_Click

This function would be called whenever I clicked the button in the list.

Is the same thing possible if I make this a hyperlink instead of a button?
In other words, I don't want to go to a web page, I want to call a function
in my user control.

You can use the LinkButton control instead of the HyperLink...
