Have a web page that has a master/detail format with a gridview and
detailsview. On loading the detailsview is not visible. Only the
    gridview.

I want to add a command button on the homepage called "Add New" and
when clicked the On Click Event will cause the detail view to appear in
    Insert Mode.

Can anyone provide some code in VB to accomplish this task.

    Thanks

    Geoff
