The irony would be unbearable if it wasn't apparent that English isn't
your first language. ;-)

JaSpell does English (and Portuguese) only at present. It does have a
wrapper around aspell (which supports many many languages).

but you've been able to interpret my intention ... by the way, my first
language is java ;-)
