Does a free C++ compiler exist

Hello,

I'm a student and am trying to learn C++ on my own this summer. To that
end I would like to know if there is a C++ compiler out there that is
freeware. I'm not looking to pirate any software just looking to save
some money if possible.

Sure; g++. It runs on all sorts of platforms and can be downloaded for
free from http://gcc.gnu.org/.

I am pretty sure that you won't get anywhere with C++ if you don't even
know how to use google!
