Dropping and Dragging a file from the desktop onto a HTML page displayed in IE

Hi All,

I want to know if it is possible to drag a file from the desktop and
drop it onto a drop area in a html page? I then want to be able to
access the filename and display that in a text box.

I am using Internet Explorer 6.

I am able to drag text from a textbox and drop it on to a drop area in
my html page fine by handling the ondragenter(), ondragover(),
ondragleave() and ondrop() events.

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.
