Hi,
I have written a rather complete (and complex) application in VB2005. It is
based on SQL server and several AJAX controls. Because I echo "a lot of"
traffic in my application (inclusive logged-in user and database and which
request is handled. I can see that the app is doing well.
Well, not that well, because when I try to get him stressed by pushing a lot
of buttons, it is possible the the app end with an:
Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: An unknown error
occurred while processing the request on the server.
The status code returned from the server was: 500
message box. The website is not longer available, after this occured. After
a few seconds (or minutes), I can log in again and do my testing.
My question is.
Is this failure because of the to high load for the server (just 1 pc with 3
different browsers opened for 3 different databases).
Or is this not the "test" to check the heavy load with a lot of users.
And offcourse how can it be solved, or how can I tell users something is
happening (or not happening) on the server
