Getting type from remote machine

Discussion in 'Java' started by Boris Ozegovic, Mar 22, 2007.

  1. Hi

    I have the client/server system and some Web-server which basically returns
    byte[] array for some server-path (classpath). In my client I have
    something like this:

    try {
    // get stub from registry
    Registry registry = LocateRegistry.getRegistry("serverHost");
    RemoteObject stub = (RemoteObject)registry.lookup("RemoteObjectImpl");

    How can I get RemoteObject type by just calling the Web-server and getting
    byte[] array?

    Tnx in advance.
