I know I can create a Hierarchical dataview where the child shows up as a
row like the parent. Is it possible to have the child row show up as a
templated layout instead?
For example:
curently it shows up like this:
Manufacture Type Model MPG
------------ ----------- ----------- -----------
+ Chevy Compact
+ Chevy SUV
+ Ford Compact
+ Ford SUV
- Ford Truck
F-150 15-21
F-250 11-16
F-350 9-13
+ Nissan Compact
+ Nissan SUV
Is it possible to do something like this?
Manufacture Type
------------ -----------
+ Chevy Compact
+ Chevy SUV
+ Ford Compact
+ Ford SUV
- Ford Truck
Model MPG
-------- ----------
F-150 15-21
F-250 11-16
F-350 9-13
+ Nissan Compact
+ Nissan SUV
Notice the Model and MPG columns are not part of the Parent rows? Also, the
user doesn't need to scroll all the way to the right to see the child rows.
Thanks!
