How to capture id or name of an image/button in html when it blongs to flash!

Hello,

I saw on an article that you can capture an image like:

****************** from here *******************
Consider the following HTML definition:

<IMG SRC="anything.gif" NAME="anything"
HEIGHT="100" WIDTH="100">

Let's suppose the this code defines the third image on the page. The
following references reflect that image:

document.images.anything

****************** up here **********************

Now, this works ok but what if your html page has an image which is
part of a flash application?

I have included a flash movie or clip which has image or button into my
html file and want to grab the control or id of the image/button. How
that is possible?

has anyone done it ? please let me know it.

Amit.

Amit,
What is your end goal? If you're trying to manipulate items inside
of the flash applet, you're probably going to want to use actionscript
inside of flash.

Happy Coding!
