How to handle muliple request of an RMI object?

Ok, so I am just getting in to RMI and I am not sure how it deals with
multiple connections to a remote object. Basically I will have 1 or more
clients requesting information from a remote object. What happens if a
client request data from a remote method before it has been returned to a
previous call of that method by another client? How does someone overcome
this?
