After using Eclipse with the Sysdeo Tomcat plugin for a while I came
across an interesting problem. Each time I attempted to start Tomcat
the IDE would keep stopping on an exception thrown in parseInt() of
Integer. After pressing F8 a hundred times Tomcat would eventually
start, but debugging was practically impossible.
After some searching, the solution presented itself as this
1) File | Switch Workspace...
2) Choose your current workspace
3) Start Tomcat and all should be well.
Further details can be found here

Many thanks to the team at MyEclipse for this one.
