HTML event for when text is selected in table cell

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is an event that gets fired off when I select
text in a cell of a table in HTML????

I know theres a onselect event but that does not work.

I need this so I can run a JavaScript function.

In IE 5.5 and later there is the document wide

to handle any kind of change to the selection.
