Html-javascr. backbutton issue ? (firefox!)

Can anybody give me a lift here, this code bellow seems to heavy ...

<a href="#" onClick="history.back(-1);"><img src="../slike/back.gif" />

Opera: works!
I.E. 6. : works!
Mozilla F. : fails!

The same is with "history.go(-1)", Firefox fails!

Solved!
Sorrito, my rushness is faster then my thinkness...
Anybod< interested in solution, although i don't yet know is it working in
all browsers :) mail me!

It is too clueless to be commented. Trying to fix it is not an exercise
in futility but an exercise in madness. It is sufficient to say that the
button, even if you could make it work in some circumstances (and maybe
using valid markup to start with), is worse than useless.
