img tag problem

hi people,

I'm having a very annoying problem with IE6 displaying the img tag.
Somehow, the image causes my webpage to appear unnecessary wide.

Example:
http://www.f1technical.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=198

A relevant extraction of the html looks like this:

<tr>
<td colspan="2"><span class="postbody"><img
src="http://www.f1racing.net/photo/upload2/gmoWFpQnxhTLb.jpg" border="0" />
<br />

<br />

Moz and Opera show this however like it should be.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Using IE6 at 1024x768 the images looked just fine to me.
Try resizing the image to something smaller and see what happens.
Half that size would be fine.
Remember, it's a bulletin board, not personal storage so every large image
takes up more space and slows down loading.
