installing without man pages

Hi,

I would like to build perl without man pages.
Therefore I tried

$ ./Configure -Uinstallman1dir -Uinstallman3dir ...

to undefine the man page directories. However the
man pages are installed in the default directories.
Is there a way to avoid this?
