Japanese Double byte chars not allowed in textbox TextMode="Passwo

Hi,

When I use TextBox in "Password" mode; I can not enter Japanese Double Byte
characters. It take the characters as single byte.

But Single line mode accepts the double byte chars.

Can anybody give any clue?
