Keyboard Doesn't Work Unless User Is Root

S

Steven Backus

I'm running a java application which uses jconnect (sybase
interface) on red hat linux 3.1. Unless I'm logged in as root, the
keyboard doesn't work when I'm trying to log in to the database.
The database login window pops up, but the window won't accept
input from the keyboard. I've tried this with several versions of
java without luck. Thanks in advance for any help.
