Local Authentication though web form

Hi

I have been shown how to authenticate against the Active Directory through a
web form and it works very nicely.

What I would like to understand now is how you would authenticate a user
using a web form against the local machine or Pre-AD domain such as an NT 4
domain using the SAM database.

i have been searching for this code but have been unseccuessful in locating
it.

Any help would be appreciated.
