Msn online status indicator script needed.

Discussion in 'HTML' started by Rasmus Nielsen, Aug 19, 2004.

  1. Hey there.

    I am looking for a reasonaply simple script for displaying my msn
    messenger online status on my web page (and preferably open the
    messenger IM to me, when clicked).

    BUT: No seperate files to install, no Active-X, php, asp, etc. - Just
    a script to directly insert into the html code).

    What I'm looking for is something more like this little Yahoo!
    messenger script:

    -------
    <a href="ymsgr:sendIM?[my yahoo id]">
    <img border=0 src="http://opi.yahoo.com/online?u=[my yahoo
    id]&m=g&t=2">
    </a>
    -------

    As you can see it's simply a graphic link which takes the online
    status image directly from Yahoo... - So I wondered if something
    similar could be done with msn messenger?

    Kind regards

    Rasmus Nielsen.

    P.S. I am aware of those sites that offer services like that. But
    that's not what I'm looking for.

    Yah, well.. It's slow, and don't work all that well for ICQ and MSN.
    But if that's the best I can get then I guess it'll have to do.

    Anyways: Thanks for your help.

    Kind regards

    Rasmus.
