Naming java.util.Timer thread

B

Brian Glick

For debugging and error reporting purposes, I want to be able to name
the background thread that my java.util.Timer is using. Is there a
way to do this?

Thanks,
Brian

You can probably call Thread.currentThread().setName() from your
TimerTask the first time it's called.
