Need help w. ServletUtilities class.

Yes , that's sadly right, I need help with trying to successfully
compile ServletUtilities class! Well, more specificly, I suppose that I
can get that compiled, BUT then when I have to use it in quite a few
servlet files, the compiler always returns the error msg. saying that
the "symbol could not be found" or something like that!

Now,whasssssup with that anyway? i must say that these servlets are
from Marty Hall's coreservlets book, which quite a few of you out there
must know about. He offers a nice tutorial on how to edit one's
classpath to get this ServletUtilites class working, and I tried to
follow along with what he has said to do, but alas, with nothing but
failure so far.

i am absolutely starting to go "out of my mind" with extreme
frustration over my repeated failure to get this going successfully. I
would be eternally grateful/thankful to anyone out there who could
possibly me out of this "crisis" of mine, I think that I can say without
trying to be one little bit overly-dramatic about this particular
situation. What could there possibly be that I have just plain missed
that, if done, could correct this for me?
