.Net msi Actvie Directory install

Hello

I have a program that I am trying to deploy through the use of the active
directory. Now as part of the setup project I tell it to create an icon on
the desktop. When the user runs the install the icon works and will open
program. When I install from a group policy non of the icons to run the
program work(desktop, programs, ect), except when they navigate to the
programs directory(C:\Program Files\program\) and open the applicaiton from
there. Does anyone know why this is and what I can do to fix it???
