The log4j team has released an alpha version of Chainsaw V2, a
Swing-based log analysis application, which supports colorizing and
filtering of events, the reception of events from multiple sources and
    much more.

A screen shot, Web Start link and more information can be found here:
    http://logging.apache.org/log4j/chainsaw.html

A tutorial is available from the Welcome panel (press the 'start'
    button on the tutorial).

If you have questions send an email to the log4j-dev mailing list:
    http://logging.apache.org/site/mailing-lists.html

    All suggestions and feedback appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Scott Deboy
