Hi,
Very Urgent.. I have created a slideshow with multiple links in a
single image...this is done as the first image kept in the Html Map
element and the remaining 2 images(this 2 images also in multiple
links) are kept in the javascript to slide including the first image.
Now i ahve a issue unable to create number list or number
slide(whatever) at the right hand side of each image. Where if i click
2 number it should go for 2nd image.

Please help me to solve this...Very urgent...i have tried many things
as using <ul><li> but this images are dynamically coming from
Javascript and Map element.

Regards,
Vinay.

Please place the page you are working with to the Web. It is hard to
understand the exact issue you are facing with.

Ok VK..

here is my testing full code..you need to keep the images as similar
to the www.unovon.com now the numbers are displayed in right edge as
of above website. Please help me..i don't want it in flash

<html>
<head>
<link type="text/css" href="slideshow.css" rel="stylesheet">
<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.2.6/
jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="jquery.slideshow.lite-0.5.3.js" type="text/javascript"></
script>
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
var image1=new Image()
image1.src="../images/image-1.jpg"
var image2=new Image()
image2.src="../images/image-2.jpg"
var image3=new Image()
image3.src="../images/image-3.jpg"
//-->
</script>
</head>
<body>
<div class="slideshowlite">
<img src="../images/image-1.jpg" name="slide" border="0" width="957"
height="359" usemap="#Map"/>
</div>
<map name="Map" id="Map">
<area shape="rect" coords="469,255,550,279" href="https://
www.unovon.com/signup_details.php?selected_plan=36" />
<area shape="rect" coords="467,286,545,298" href="https://
www.unovon.com/plans.php" />
<area shape="rect" coords="46,327,214,340" href="https://
www.unovon.com/terms.php" />
<area shape="rect" coords="47,312,201,324" href="https://
www.unovon.com/countries.php" />

</map>
<script>
<!--
//variable that will increment through the images
var step=1
function slideit(){
//if browser does not support the image object, exit.
if (!document.images)
return
document.images.slide.src=eval("image"+step+".src")
if (step<3)
step++
else
step=1
//call function "slideit()" every 2.5 seconds
setTimeout("slideit()",2500)
}
slideit()
//-->
</script>

</body>
</html>

here is my testing full code..

1) How do I suppose to test it with CSS and image missing? Put the
whole page with all its dependencies somewhere in the Web. Remove all
irrelevant to the problem parts.

2)
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
var image1=new Image()
image1.src="../images/image-1.jpg"
var image2=new Image()
image2.src="../images/image-2.jpg"
var image3=new Image()
image3.src="../images/image-3.jpg"
//-->
</script>

I can tell for pretty sure that the whole approach is not functional.
By changing .src of an image used as #MAP you are not causing the map
object reflaw on the page. So it will be a new image, but all map's
areas will remain the same - as they are hardcoded in the page HTML
for the initial map. And I don't know DOM methods to manipulate AREA
for MAP object, AFAIK there are no such.
