[OT] Any advise on free news reader(s)?

Hi..,

well, I use "Thunderbird" for all my needs;
it's quite good.

Can you advise any "advanced" news reader which can
handle all the stuff very nicely,if it's F/OSS then it would
be very nice.

by the way information on the public servers too would be
very helpful.
