Perl docs in CHM format?

Can anyone tell me if the perl docs are available in Windows CHM Help file
format? I have looked with no success unless I was looking in the wrong
places.

If this question was asked already and answered then I appologize for
missing it.

Thanx

I don't know of any such availability, but I do wonder why you believe
them necessary. If you're using Perl on Windows, I assume you are
using ActiveState Perl, correct? And if this is so, the docs are
available to you in nicely linked and cross-referenced HTML formating,
via
Start->Programs->ActiveState ActivePerl 5.8)->documentation.

If for some reason that's not good enough, I would suggest asking a
Windows newsgroup if there exists any POD->CHM or HTML->CHM converter
applications.

CHM has advantages over HTML.

Which I consider on topic here, btw. (POD->CHM that is)

For those interested I just found it in CHM here
http://htmlhelp.berlios.de/books/chm.php

haven't gone through it yet but there are a few files here for different
utilities and programs and languages (ie Python, g77, cpp, perl etc etc)

Just thought I would post this here in case others are interested in getting
it as well.
