Hi there,
Am new to the world on .net and have created my first web application (web page).
Till yet it works fine.
Have an issue though:
I have a datagrid that I loop through and save to the database.
If another user is editing the same record i.e. if I have 2 web pages open and the user is accessing the same record , the user that saves data last gets an error " Another user has modified the record" , this works as functioned.
Now here's the issue:
If the same user who got the error refreshes the page he gets the default dialog for IE i.e "Page cannot be refreshed without sending ......hit retry /cancel"
So the user clicks retry...however the error of "Another user has modified the record again pops up"...how can one avoid this error?
Any help on this is highly appreciated...
Thanks in advance..
