Print multiple rows of text from different programs. (C language)

Hello, I have recently begun to learn C. I have done a simple fahr-celcius converter and i am trying to add a second converter (lb-kg). I have tried many things on my own, but nothing seems to work. It is my first project and I count on improving it more and more to apply what I learn overtime. The tests in the while loop include "kg <= upperx" but at no point inside the while loop does either kg or upperx get updated.

I don't understand how different it is from fahr <= celsius. If I'm correct it neither is updated in the loop. What would you do to correct this issue? I have kept searching and can't find any answer. Anyhow, I appreciate your help, it's one step closer to finding the solution.

fahr = fahr + step;

What are you trying to accomplish with the while loop?
