Problem in eclipse3.0

Hi,
I have a problem while opening any java file in my project, the
eclipse crashes(JVM terminated with the pop up error window). The
system configuration is 1GBRAM, P4 1.6GHz, 40GBHDD. I am starting the
eclipse as "D:\eclipse3.0\eclipse\eclipse.exe -clean -vm
D:\j2sdk1.4.2_06\jre\bin\javaw -vmargs -Xmx768M". Is it a problem with
the memory or some thing else? .

Normally this should not be a problem, however you could try and remove
'-vmargs -Xmx768M', just to see if it starts with Java's default memory
size.
What is the exact message in the error window?
