receiving Click event without Postback

Hi all,


On the web I found some code to implement a TabControl.
I placed a datagrid on the first and the second tab.

The data for the second datagrid should be fetched only when
the second tab is clicked. I set AutoPostBack of my Tabcontrol to
false because I don´t want everything postedback when I switch between
tabs.

The click event to switch between tabs is handled by a script. Now I
wonder how I can get this event inside of my "WebForm Page class".

Is it possible? Should I do this another way?

Any help is welcome here.
