Setting Maxlength on a MultiLine Textbox

    how do you do it? i understand the maxlength property has no effect but is
    there a way around it?

  2. You can use a Validator control to check the length. You can either use a
    RegularExpressionValidator or a CustomValidator and provide your own script
    file to check the length of.
