Share Session between applications?

Hello,
I need to do the following:

From application A a Session is created (Session["test"] = true). From application A data is sent to application B, which later calls a page on application A to verify some stuff. But on return to application A I need to get my hands on the Session created at first...

I can send SessionID with application A to B. But how do I get my hands on SessionID on the return from application B..

Well, maybe a bit difficult to explain - but hopefully someone has the answer?
