Thanks, Andrew - might give that a try even though people are
complaining about problems with it in some OS's like Win2K.

BTW - that reference to Win2K worries me. I had the impression
BrowserLauncher was effective across a wide range of Win
configurations, including Win2K. Do you have any further info.?

LOL - that is one guy! There was no detailed description of the problem,
no stack trace, no follow-up, and no confirmation.

In fact, the post does not even have enough information to
convince me that the OP *tried* his version of the class on
any other platform (as opposed to quoting what he had heard).

It could have been something as simple as the OP attempting to run
BrowserLauncher against a 1.1 VM when it was compiled for 1.4.

What I forgot to mention is that since it is open source, if we *can*
reproduce a problem on a Win2K box, we can almost certainly fix it.
