Size of data saved back to Active Directory

In an Asp.Net page that is saving back information to an active directory
there appears to be a problem occasionally saving fields that have a certain
amount of data.
The code is using the System.DirectoryServices.DirectoryEntry name space,
using the properties collection and the CommitChanges method to save the
information.

What is the size limit of an AD Attribute that is a Unicode String?

Are there any size limits in using properties collection or the
commitchanges method for individual properties or the total amount of data?
