<%=someVariable.ToString()%> not working?

    Hi,
    is this functionality in VS 2005 disabled? i use
    <asp:TextBox ID="TextBox1" runat="server" Text="Blah"></asp:TextBox>

    <asp:Button ID="Button1" runat="server" Text="<%=TextBox1.Text%>"
    OnClick="Button1_Click" />

    and Button1.Text is "<%=TextBox1.Text%>" (should be "Blah") . Im doing
    something wrong? in VS 2003 everything works just fine.
