Strace?

Hi
For ex. I got an error like "symbol not found" with Americas
Army on Mandrake. After doing:
cd /usr/X11R6/lib
mv libGL.so.1  libGL.so.1ORG
ln -s /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 libGL.so.1
it worked. I got this from another guy who straced? the
Armygame. Well how he did that and with what kind of
programs?

Is there a C++ language question here somewhere? And if you
want to know how "another guy who straced" did something, why
don't you just ask that other guy?
