how to upload file in asp.net ?, i prefer something like file attachment as
we can see in yahoo or hotmail.

how to upload file in asp.net ?, i prefer something like file
attachment as we can see in yahoo or hotmail.

On the client side, you can either

1) use the HtmlInputFile control or
2) use a bare <input type="file" .. /> tag.

On the server side, you then retrieve the posted file

1) from the HtmlInputControl's PostedFile property or
2) from the Request.Files property
