user control inside gridview

hey all,
i have a user control that consists of a textbox and a button next to it
that's inside a column of a gridview. can someone please show me how to
prevent the button from wrapping to the next line inside the column. there's
plenty of room to the right of the textbox but for some reason it's wrapping?
