VHDL and reading of picture

    Hi all,
    maybe somethings tried with VHDL read Picture? I muss to use TEXTIO Package?

    I have made ruby scripts that extract pixels from bmp images into text files, and back. The text files are easily read and written from the testbench using the textio package.

    Someone have an easier solution?
