Viweing Web Controls in Design Mode

How can I view my web control in design mode?? I created one, and cant see
it on my other web pages when designing.

Are you thinkign webcontrols or usercontrols?

If you create a "Web User Control" with a ascx, I dont
think you can have it display a preview... at least in
vs.net 2003.

If you inherit webcontrol and then implement
GetDesignTiemHtml, it does render in the browser just fine.

Microsoft is said to be eliminating the 'ugly gray box'
in asp.net 2.0 for UserControl (ascx).

For WebControl use GetDesignTimeHTML,
GetEmptyDesignTimeHTML & GetErrorDesignTimeHTML.
