Xerces 2 and validating

Hi all!

Hope somebody can help me. Having a problem trying to validate with
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2000/10/XMLSchema-instance". The response
is "Cannot find the declaration of element". Everything works fine
when using the newer version
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance". Is there a way
to configure the parser to accept the earlier version or what to do
when you're stuck with documents that only supports the earlier
version?
