I'm trying to do some analysis on a web application using -Xrunhprof to
get some heap dumps. It works fine for me on a simple Hello World type
test application, but when I get a dump from a server (specifically,
OC4J 10.1.2.0.2), all char[]'s and byte[]'s appear empty. The result is
the same in a text dump and in a binary dump analyzed by HAT 1.1 (heap
analysis tool). Has anyone else experienced/solved this?
