Capture Function Keys in IE or other alternatives?

Hi,

I need to capture function keys entered in Web page. I understand that
IE has reserved them for its own use and it might be much more
difficult or even impossible to override them. But I will need to use
those Function keys because they are what the clients used to use. I am
wondering if anyone knows how I can use Ctrl+ function keys or
Shift+Function Keys instead.
