DataGrid HeaderTemplate Bug?

I use theDataGrid control and specify a HeaderTemplate for the grid.
I the rendered HTML the header row is not rendered as <th> elements.
Is this a bug in the DataGrid control?

It's not a bug; since that's the way it works. Table th elements are not "required", and even though it would nice if the DataGrid generated them, based on the HTML version one was using, it doesn't seem like it's going to happen in ASP.NET 1.x

Maybe they will be there in ASP.NET 2.
