DataGrid

Hi All,
I am inheriting a class named MyGrid from
System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataGrid and overriding a
OnItemDataBound method .When i drag and drop the this
control from the ToolBox it does not render properly and
says "There was an error in rendering the Control .Check
to make sure all properties are valid".
While this is not creating any problem at runtime .it
works properly.
If i remove the Override this problem gets solved
automatically.
Pls help me to solve this prob.
