freeze header on UNBOUND gridview

Hello.. VS 2005 VB.NET

I have Googled this for two days and have found nothing for freezing headers with an unbound gridview. Is it possible? If so, I would be most appreciative if anyone has some code they could share an or a link to code that works for vb.net.

this must be done with javascript. google freeze table headers and you
will find lots of samples.
