· Four (4) years high level experience administering the UNIX
Operating System environment on high end servers in a multi-platform
environment or developing programming solutions or enhancements to
complex problems in the UNIX environment. Integration of diverse
products into the UNIX environment.
· Four (4) years experience with two (2) languages in UNIX
programming, such as PERL C, KSH, LISP, SCHEME
· Ten (10) years experience with mathematical techniques to
evaluate and develop statistical models of a computer environment.
· Six (6) years experience with mathematical modeling of
computer security
· Six (6) years experience with computer security and
networking.
· Four (4) years experience with UNIX operating system
internals
· Four (4) years experience with internet and web protocols.
Req 2:
· Six (6) years high level experience administering SUN
Operating System environment on high end servers in a multi-platform
environment
· Four (4) years experience with Sun Enterprise 10000 and
15000 administration
· Four (4) years experience with UNIX programming

· Six (6) years experience working with Netbackup across many
platforms including: SUN and NT and Red Hat Linux.

· Network Attached Storage (NAS) environment.
· Six (6) years experience in configuring various tape
devices.
· Six (6) years experience in all the backup agent
technologies for hot and cold database backup of Informix, Oracle, MS
SQL, mySQL.
· Six (6) years experience in Architecting, tuning and
performance issues in a customized Netbackup environment that uses
multiple implementations of media servers, shared storage option, and
all the features of the advanced client option such as 3pc and
synthetic backups across multiple WANs.
· Six (6) years experience in SUN hardware ranging from
enterprise class machines of 3500 to 25000. Expertise in 10k, 15k and
25k administration is required as that is where our implementation
runs.
· Six (6) years experience in Employment of many node clusters
of Veritas cluster server product as well as, advanced features of the
Veritas foundation suite. A thorough understanding of tuning issues in
foundation suite and Veritas cluster are essential.
· Six (6) years experience in Solaris NIS, LDAP and basic
security including SSH and firewall infrastructure.
