log4j - WriterAppender

Hi everybody!

I'm using log4j in an application. I use a log4j.properties
configuration file (XML format).

When I use the appender "FileAppender" for logging, no problem.
However, it will be soon deprecated. On the apache website, they
recommend to use "WriterAppender". I cannot manage to make it work!

Does anyone has an idea about the properties of "writerAppender" (e.g.
how to specify the output file, ...)?

Any help is welcomed.
