POP3 using SLL with Ruby 1.8.X

Hi all,

I am using NetOP3 to retrieve some emails on a POP3 account which
requires SSL.

I was wondering if it was possible to log in to a POP3 server using SSL
with Ruby 1.8? I believe that 1.9 has this? Is it still possible to log
in to a POP3 account with 1.8? Any help would be appreciated.
