All,
I am going to sit for the SCJP exam. I have some queries regarding
the same.

1: Is scoring high at all important or just become a certified
professional will do?
2: What score is considered as a healthy score?
3: Will the score be written on the certificate?

Please suggest.

The mark is available via your sun account for anyone you wish to see.
But I'd say it was unlikely that anyone would want to.

2: What score is considered as a healthy score?

Pass is 52% IIRC. But it is black & white language spec questions so there
is no real reason not to get 90%+ - I got 88% :-(

3: Will the score be written on the certificate?

No

If you do the SCJD that is more important to get high mark, but again no one
has asked me to prove mine, but I do put both on my CV (resume)

The above was for 1.4, may be it has changed but I don't think so.

As of when I took the exam, which was 6 years ago:

1. No, the particular score you get is irrelevant, as long as you achieve
the minimum to pass.

2. At the time, 70% was required to pass the exam. The percentage may have
changed slightly in the interim with new editions of the test.

3. The scores are not written on the certificate.
